Tomorrow is Groundhog Day, don’t ya know? Naw- not in the sense whether ol’ Puxy Phil sees his shadow,but that of the 1993 Bill Murry movie of the same name. Or as Yogi Berra put it -”it’s deja vu all over again.” For the uninitiated this announcement may be their first coming to knowledge of such, but, tomorrow is the end of the world. Again. And again…..
If you just take a cursory read of this blog , you’ll know why. Now , I do feel bad for Harold in his current physical state(had a stroke,and is home now BTW) but his teaching has caused great harm, not only individually but to the Church as a whole. At this point though, after the fiasco of May 21st, I have very little sympathy for those hangers-on still clinging to Harold’s shorts. After tomorrow, when NOTHING happens , yet again,any devotees who try to spin this (the complete end of the PHYSICAL universe) as some spiritual event should be placed in psychiatric care. Truly ,their complete disconnect from reality would render them harmful to those around them. And all this because they choose to follow the ramblings of a man(though they’ll deny) rather than properly exegete the Word of God for themselves. It how cults get started and is what this has devolved to.
Family Radio has been extremely low keyed about it all, and for good reason-they’re hurting. Even in their last “Family Radio News” newsletter(which I get ,BTW) has NO mention of Oct. 21st or even Camping,for that matter. Tomorrow will not help them regain footing,unfortunately. A shame a station once rich in Gospel has been dragged through the gutter of one man’s pride-and his seeming need to “Be right.”
Let’s see how this falls out…..again…….

I hear ya , I’m considering those who are still pliable, as for the “leadership” individually-”politeness” – is a very hard thing to conjure up at this point ,seeing the lives that had been ruined by this garbage.
